Supermarket Information Management System based on Visible Light Communication

In this paper, the visible light communication technology is applied in the information management system of supermarket, the transceiver of visible light communication system is installed in the supermarket LED lighting system and the supermarket shopping cart. At the same time, the display screen of the shopping cart can display supermarket discounts and promotions, and the information management center in the background of the supermarket can also understand the customer’s location and movement speed, which not only facilitates users to understand the goods information but also provides certain reference value for the management, operation and procurement of the supermarket.
