The analysis and evaluation of ancillary services is an integral part of power market construction. However, the research work on the evaluation system of ancillary services in power market at home and abroad is relatively few and not deep enough, and a complete market analysis and evaluation system and theoretical methods have not yet been formed. Based on the requirements of the "two rules" issued by the China Electricity Regulatory Commission and the current implementation, operation and management of auxiliary services in Guangdong power grid, this paper constructs a relatively scientific and comprehensive evaluation index system of an ancillary services market. It is from the aspects of technical assessment, market conditions, market behaviour, market performance and market risk, taking into account the complexity and diversity of the indexes involved in the evaluation of ancillary services market, which can provide a quantitative reference for the supervision and evaluation of ancillary service in Guangdong power grid.
