In view of the shortcomings of existing power line network algorithms, a new multipath routing algorithm for power line communication is proposed, which can satisfy the requirements of power line network for Anti-destructiveness and real-time performance, and solve the problem of frequent network reconfiguration when links fail. The proposed multipath routing method for power line communication mainly includes three processes: node reliability calculation, routing discovery and multipath routing maintenance. The method described in this paper combines node reliability calculation with routing discovery in implementation, and multi-path selection is based on the degree of non-correlation of nodes. The improved algorithm is tested in laboratory simulation and field test. Experiments show that the new multipath routing algorithm based on power line communication can effectively shorten the meter reading delay and relay depth.
