The current study successfully established methodology that aimed to quantify the delivery of drugs to a specific site of interest. The results showed the ability of SPCCT imaging to provide additional information in energy images. Analyzing the spectral response alone could not identify what materials were present due to a lack of k-edge. However, material decomposition (MD) identified both the material and quantified the amount of drug present
