摘要

DES has some limitations, such as the risk of ISR and late thrombosis. To overcome these problems, the functional surfaces and polymer should be improved. In this study, the positive effect of dextran-derived polyelectrolyte polymer was verified to prevent ISR. These results suggest that dextran, a natural polymer, is useful for fabricating DES and that it does not promote inflammation. Thus, dextran may overcome the limitations of synthetic polymer-based DES.
