An Elastomeric Scaffold Functionalized with SDF-la/CXCL12 Via Covalently Linked Syndecan-4

The long range goal of the study is to functionalize PFC scaffold to home circulating stem cells once the PFC is surgically implanted. Results of this study demonstrates that SD-4 can be covalently linked to the PFC scaffold material and sequester the growth factor SDF-1α.
