Enhanced Hemocompatibility of Ta-implanted ePTFE Vascular Grafts

Ta-implanted ePTFE has been successfully fabricated via high negative substrate bias using a DC sputter. From the surface modification of Ta ion implantation, the initial endothelialization and antithrombogenicity of ePTFE surface were significantly enhanced. Therefore, Ta-implanted ePTFE has great potential as desirable vascular grafts.
