Dextran coated cerium oxide nanoparticles (Dex-CeNP): a novel blood pool CT contrast agent

摘要

Dex-CeNP produced strong CT contrast, no adverse effect on cell viabilities and are found to be highly stable in physiological buffers. In vivo imaging with CT, biodistribution, biodegradation and circulation half-lives will be performed and discussed. It is expected that Dex-CeNP will be biodegradable, excretable and have a long circulation half-life. Hence, this nano-platform could be a potential blood pool CT contrast agent.
