Using the difference in expansion ratio due to temperature, a machine having a desired radius of curvature by self-folding was manufactured. The contractile force of myotubes differentiated by a linear pattern on the leg showed a value of 1.12 ± 0.30 μN and was superior to the contractile force of the cells distinguished by other patterns. If not only the 2D alignment of myotubes, but also 3D alignment technology is introduced, it is expected that it is possible to manufacture a biological machine having better actuation ability.
