The main challenge that limits the potential of Massive Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) is the pilot contamination. In a previous work, we have proposed a novel iterative algorithm to ensure the mitigation of the pilot contamination effect. This algorithm, that we called “Channel Zooming Algorithm”, is able to zoom through iterations on the signal of the strongest user by taking advantage of the difference in space signatures and transmitted data sequences. We detailed the proposed algorithm, CZA, only in the case of one contaminating user. In this paper, we have described CZA in the realistic scenario where several contaminating users are considered. Simulation results prove the effectiveness of our approach.
