摘要

Non-revenue water has become serious issue to the poor and less natural resources countries. It will lead to a waste of natural resources and infrastructure damage for example landslide due to pipeline leakage. The proposed optical sensor has applied laser dynamic effect exist in the lasing system and characterized it. Then it will demonstrate point to point sensing and compare performance with Acoustic Emission (AE) sensor that usually use in localized leak location. Result shows that the proposed optical sensor is working well with minimal signal processing and able to pinpoint the leaking point with less than 5% error.
