A broadcast and television signal power detection system based on space radiation is designed in this paper. It solves the problem that the in-use broadcast and television transmitting equipment cannot be detected due to the difficulty of coordination and the lack of coupling port during the traditional conduction detection. The system is mainly composed of an antenna, a test receiver, a computer and detection software. During the detection, the system is set up at a appropriate place, and the corresponding parameters are input in to the software. The system will complete the reception, storage and calculation of the broadcast and television signals at the corresponding frequency points, and then obtain the equivalent EIRP of the transmitting port. The actual detection shows that the system is stable and the deviation is less than ± 6dB. The research improves the management level of in-use broadcast and television station by rose to a overall performance of in-use station through space radiation instead of that of the independent parts such as transmitters, feeders, and transmitting antennas.
