摘要

The head telescope is one of the most important defects affecting the coiling quality in hot strip coiling. Currently, the head telescope is usually rectified forcedly by side guide which causes the side arch and deterioration of physical properties due to huge force. Aiming at the strip head telescope of a 750mm hot strip rolling line, the reasons of head telescope during coiling process are found, and the influences of related devices are analyzed. The way that controls the strip exit velocity through the bilateral forces of upper pinch roll based on Orowan uniform compression theory is firstly proposed to rectify the deflecting strip and improve strip head telescope. The strip moving trajectory from pinch roll to reel is simulated by ABAQUS. Simulation results show that the head telescope can be improved and even eliminated.
