Research on the Design Concepts of Small and Medium-Sized Libraries Based on the Perspective of Community Service-Taking the United States as an Example

摘要

This paper reveals the latest development trend of public libraries in developed societies through the study of the concept of small and medium-sized libraries in the United States, predicts the possible development of small and medium-sized libraries under the perspective of rapid urbanization and community-based services. The direction is to break the rigid traditional library design concept and model, and to explore the construction of library construction theory suitable for China's national conditions.
