摘要

Reliability in Phased array technology has been evolving steadily since it was first conceived. Various approaches for establishing reliability are dealt in this paper towards building a reliable system. The methodology adopted was initially carrying out reliability analysis through parts stress method, RBD using functional flow diagram with study of graceful degradation of the systems using active type of redundant concepts are presented in this paper. Different models were adopted to build product reliability Viz., Series, Hot standby, cold standby and active type etc. At last a quantitative approach is presented in this paper towards analyses of the overall system reliability for Passive Electronically Scanned Phased Array Radar has been worked using Reliability international standard MIL-HDBK-217FN2.
