Class Tiling Design for Ordered Dithering

摘要

In this paper, new improved threshold matrix is proposed by using class tiling design. The previous ordered dithering method suffers from drawback of periodic patterns that reduces the visual quality. To reduce these periodic patterns some modifications in existing method are proposed which include consecutive rotation, transpose, and relocation of the sample matrices. As shown underneath the experimental outcomes, the projected threshold matrix succeeds in providing a good model in terms of image quality.
