In last ten years many developed and developing countries move towards green power. Most of them installed green power like wind generator and solar cell with storage device at distribution level. Interconnecting and facilitating the distribution power system with advanced control, communication and information technology is challenging task. The aim of Integrating Green Power Generators in microgrid is to determine optimum location and size of Green Power Distributed Generators(GPDG). This paper summarizes overviews of research work for optimum location and size of renewable Distributed Generators with or without storage devices based on research paper published. It includes mathematical models of wind and solar power generator and several optimization problems which have been developed to allocate green power distributed energy sources in distributed power system.
