This paper presents an equivalent electronic circuit switching model of the titanium dioxide (TiO2) memristor implemented in a time domain solver in order to prove and illustrate the generation of an ultra-wide band (UWB) chaotic signals suitable for UWB applications. The TiO2 memristor model accurately captures the nonlinear dynamic switching behavior in a transient simulation. The achieved results show that the proposed memristive system has the common characteristics of nonlinear chaotic oscillator under different parameters, such as the continuous period-doubling which are demonstrated by numerical simulations and bifurcation analysis as route to chaos.
