摘要

In this study, chitosan-based composite coatings were appLied on AA8006 by sol-gel method. Surface characterization and the phase composition of coating were analyzed by SEM and FTIR. To investigate the corrosion behavior of coating, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and potentiodynamic polarization were used. Applying chitosan coating on aluminum alloy increase the corrosion resistance and shift the corrosion potential to more positive value. The result indicates that by addition of 1mM cerium ion to the chitosan, high corrosion resistant coating was obtained.
