The standard core protocol of Narrow Band Internet of Things (NB-IOT) was approved by the RAN plenary session in June 16, 2016. Global operators have a standardized IOT proprietary protocol. The successful completion of the standardization work also marks that the NB-IOT has entered the commercial stage. Modern wireless communication equipment must accommodate high power transmitter and high sensitivity receiver. To ensure the well work of the receiver, the narrow-band pass filter should be equipped before the low noise amplifier in the front end of the receiver. The accurate measurement of the noise figure of the low noise system is directly related to the gain and the measurement configuration under narrow-band condition. This paper presents a narrow-band measurement scheme, and analyzes the influence of gain error during the measurement of low noise figure.
