摘要

This paper will describe the differences between the old and new edition of the IEC 60895 standard, analyzing the significant aspects towards the field attenuation and the introduction of new accessories. It will be described more in detail the concept of “classes” which determines different values of electrical field attenuation and matching with accessories. The paper will also present some practical examples of use related to the requirements introduced by the new European Directive about electromagnetic fields.
