The space community is currently experiencing an increase in demand for low-cost high-reliability CubeSat photovoltaic subsystems which is driving advancement in lean testing and characterization instruments. Angstrom Designs and MMA Design demonstrate the capabilities of a programmable LED Solar Simulator (pLEDSS) as a performance characterization instrument for CubeSat solar arrays. AM0 current/voltage characterization was performed on the MMA eHaWK advanced deployable CubeSat solar array using Angstrom Designs' pLEDSS. Test and power analysis data are shown.
