This paper investigates finite-time stability (FTS) for discrete-time switched delay systems with nonlinear disturbances, where the disturbances may have stronger nonlinearities. Based on novel inequality technique and average dwell time approach, several new stability criteria are obtained which guarantee that the state trajectory does not exceed a certain threshold over a pre-specified finite-time interval. An example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.
