The use of chaos in signal processing and telecommunication in the last few years originates several results, especially in spread spectrum system, cryptography and watermarking. The aim of this paper is to exploit the features of chaos in a MIMO radar system using phase shift keying waveform and complex codes as multiple access. In previous works it has been proven that a chaotic map could generate sequence with correlation properties that depend on the bifurcation parameters; based on these results we propose in this work to analyze the impact of the metric of a chaotic sequence on the performance of the considered MIMO radar.
