Epoxy resins are electrical insulation composite materials used in electrical industrial applications due to the their excellent electrical insulation properties and ability to protect the electrical components from environmental condition. The aim of this paper is to estimate flashover voltage of the epoxy resins under medium to high voltages in electrical application in the presence of nano-particles, likes Magnesium Oxide (MgO), Alumina Trihydrate (ATH), Calcium Carbonate (CaCo3), and Silica (SiO2), these fillers weight about 30% of the sample weight. The flashover voltage test was done simulating natural conditions. Cylindrical rod epoxy composite samples with different dimensions (10, 20, and 30mm) length, for all fillers have been prepared investigating the optimum flashover voltage. The least square method is used to analyze the obtained results to predict and determine the best filler type, giving optimum flashover voltage under different conditions.
