Experimental Study on the Deformation Characteristics of Cement Soil Mixed with Waste Steel Slag Based on a Unidirectional Compression Test
In order to make full use of waste steel slag, based on one-way consolidation test, deformation characteristics about cemented soil mixed with waste steel slag were carried out. The stress-strain relationship of cemented soil, e-p curve, effect on compression modulus caused by slag content and age. The comparison results show that the cemented soil mixed with steel slag waste has good compressive strength, and the brittleness of destruction increases along with the age growth. The compressive modulus of specimen is the maximum when the cement proportion is 20% and the steel slag proportion is 10%. The hydration of steel slag began to emerge at the age of 28 days and the sample compressive modulus of the steel slag of 30% with the age of 90 days is close to that of the cement of 30% with the age of 7 days. The ratio of "soil of 100%, cement of 20%, steel slag of 10%, water of 30%" is the optimal proportion of slag-cement soil.
