PPG Surface Seal® Aircraft Windshield Rain Repellent System

PPG Surface Seal is extremely important of creating hydrophobicity on glass surface of aerospace transparencies. Challenges arise for Surface Seal formulation because many raw materials have been and will be removed from industrial products based on EPA regulations and TSCA registration. New but acceptable formulas are tested with environmental exposure experiments such as QUV, humidity, wiper abrasion, and chemical resistance before they are commercially available.
