With a population reaching 200 million, Pakistan is an emerging economy where aviation has been identified as a catalyst for socio-economic well-being. The aviation policy is designed to incentivize and attract foreign investors in various aviation domains in the aviation industry. Ownership and market access liberalization, adherence to international standards, emphasis on education, investor friendly environment, greater safety and security assurance, and above all, travel and business friendly culture is the overall strategic direction that Pakistan's dynamic and forward looking National Aviation Policy 2015 anticipates to achieve. The policy is a beginning of a new era in aviation for Pakistan.
