Research on the Reserve Modes of Emergency Resource under Multi-Reserve Subjects

In the natural disasters, reserve capacity of the government affects directly the efficiency of disaster relief, especially in the crucial period. Base on current situation and problems of emergency resources reserve in China, a combination of suppliers and state central warehouse reserve method is proposed to improve emergency reserve capability. This article proposed a multi-objective approach for choosing reserve mode and quantity. The objectives are (ⅰ) minimizing total operating cost and (ⅱ)minimizing total weighted distance. The model is solved using ε -constraint methods. The results derived from CPLEX based on a case study are also presented. The results indicate that the model serves as an efficient tool for handling emergency resource reserve problem.
