In this paper, a fluid-structure interactionanalysis is developed for a flapping wing. Inorder for the structural analysis, a co-rotationalshell element is developed. It is forconsideration with regard to the realistic threedimensionalwing configuration. Moreover,three-dimensional preconditioned Navier-Stokesequations are employed for the fluid analysis.Using the present FSI analysis, an explicitinvestigation for three-dimensional plungingwing with NACA0012 cross-section isconducted.
