This paper studies on principle and optimal operation parameter ofself-made High Frequency Vibration Air Separator (HFVAS) in separating wasteprinted circuit board powder. Which obtained from researches on main parametersaffecting separation such as vibration frequency, bed inclination angle and air supplyamount. The most optimal separation factor is obtained when particle size is between1-0.5nm with vibration frequency is 1600 times /min; bed cross dip is 5.2°;longitudinal pitch is 0°; the most optical effect is archived when air supply amount is50m~3/h. Grade is 90.50% for non-metal in light product and grade is 79.39% for metalin heavy product. Metal recovery rate is 86.90% in heavy product; Valid lowerlimitation of separation is 0.25mm. The research approves that high frequencyvibration air separator can make effective separation of printed circuit board.
