摘要

Pressure uniformity between components of polymer electrolyte fuel cell (PEMFC) is important issue to optimize the performance. The effect of pressure distribution is more significant in PEMFC with large active area. The pressure uniformity is related to the clamping configuration and exerted force. To measure the current distribution, printed circuit board (PCB) type segmented cell is applied to single cell PEMFC. Specially designed endplate is employed to improve the pressure uniformity. As a result, the pressure uniformity of PEMFC is found to affect the current distribution and overall PEMFC performance.
