The Paper explains "Umka-Duboko" landslide case study. That is landslide with one of the most spacious and deepest "sliding focus" in Europe. Its origin, in addition to geologic predisposition, is tightly linked with the right bank erosion and meandering evolution of the Sava river. In our days, the sliding process has been accelerated considerably by anthropogenesis impact, uncontrolled abusive urbanization, construction of water-supply without supporting sewerage, felling of trees, poor maintenance of canals, etc.In order to define the geologic composition, causes, mechanism and dynamics of the landslide there of for the purpose of preparing the design for terrain repair and watercourse regulation, extensive geotechnical investigations and monitoring have been carried out. Five large unstable slopes of different levels of activity have been recorded in the area under study. The repair solution is shown. The hydraulic and seismic performance of proposed solution was observed in order to prove that repair measures will provide the safe and sustainable solution.
