摘要

Mote Carlo Simulation code, JAIPU is extended for the radiation damage of materials from the imparted gamma radiation considering lattice positions of atoms. MC Simulation of the physical effects of gamma radiation and the development of a full cascade of secondary atomic collisions is done up to the last limit of the material or escape out of radiation. Ionization loss is incorporated for the collision energy. This leads to interrelations between photon energy and energy of primary knocked out atoms and the number of displaced atoms on the surface as well as inside the bulk of the irradiated material along with a possibility of knowing the density of clusters or the voids formed in the irradiated material.
