Coastal green space is an important part of urban green space and a characteristic landscape of coastal cities. This paper constructs a computer network-based landscape evaluation system of plant communities in urban coastal green space from three aspects of ecological value, landscape aesthetic value and public service value, and summarizes the overall geographical situation through GIS data. Then, in the key evaluation module, 40 plant communities along Minjiang River in Fuzhou were analyzed by analytic hierarchy process. The results showed that the landscape quality of plant communities along Minjiang River in Fuzhou City was generally good. However, there is a lack of excellent plant landscape communities. On the basis of the evaluation results, the ways and methods to improve the quality of plant landscape along Lancang River in Fuzhou were discussed.
