Understanding the vulnerability of mangrove ecosystem to the human activities becomes a crucial issue for managing the sustainable environment. This ecosystem becomes the target of conversion, especially in developing countries, like Indonesia. Multi date remote sensing data assessments have been employing for years for assessing the area and the rate of degradation. However, not many researches have considered the value of this ecosystem. Without accurate information of the mangrove ecosystem value, the majority of the people will still consider this ecosystem as an open access resources and possible to be exploited unlimitedly. For this need, a model of spatial multi date mangrove ecosystem accounting should be employed for assessing the best mangrove ecosystem management. The process employed the multi date assessment of mangrove ecosystem accounting using remotely sensed data, geographical information system technique for mapping the quality change and Total Economic Valuation method for accounting the ecosystem value. The result, using Sinjai mangrove area - south Celebes, indicates that the management scenarios that employ silvo fisheries method, using only less than 7 % of the area are allowable for fish ponds culture, performed as the best scenario.
