摘要

The paper deals with the effect of external electrical circuits on the static and dynamic conditions of high-power multiple-beam klystron collectors. It is shown that high-current systems may feature high-voltage breakdowns between the resonator unit and the collector that share the ground potential. A mathematical model describing the induced voltage on the collector of the O- type devices with allowance for external electrical circuits is presented. The possibility of suppressing the high-voltage breakdowns in the collector area due to external capacitive elements is theoretically and experimentally demonstrated.
