This paper is concerned with fault detection filter design of certain discrete-time networked systems with delays. Based on the traditional fault detection filter, a novelty fault detection observer was designed to compensate the delay by iteration. The fault reference model was introduced, and an augumented residual system was derived. With the H_1 theory, a fault detection schem was proposed based on the H, filter. With the LMI, the observer gain and the post filter matrix could be got. Simulation results gave an illustration of the proposed design.
