Experiencias en la enseñanza semipresencial en el Plan de Estudio de Ingeniería Biomédica en el 'Instituto Superior Politécnico José Antonio Echeverría'

We show our experience and main problems in the using of Learning Management System (LMS), Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and E-learning tools to prepare a subject: Project of Research II in undergraduate Biomedical Engineering program at Electrical Engineering School, in ISPJAE university (Instituto Superior Politécnico "José Antonio Echeverría"). A LMS local server (Moodle) and some elements of Problem Based Learning (PBL) was used in this subject, and we obtained interesting results with our students using different recourses, such as: Lectures, Unload and Share Documents, Blog, WIKI, Online Quizzes, Online Discussions, and Students Workgroup. We show the results related with the students accepting of this alternative (semi-virtual education) and this educational experience will be used in others subjects to permit better flexibility in professional student's preparation and better efficiency of teacher's work-time.
