A study on the relationship between clinical nurses' perceived social support and multiple happiness

This study aims to assess the relationship between clinical nurses' perceived social support and multiple happiness. The data was collected from 192 full time clinical nurses who worked at a hospital in China. Results indicate that: (1) Clinical nurses' perceived social support was a significant predictor of multiple happiness; (2) Three dimensions of clinical nurses' perceived social support positively were significant predictors of multiple happiness; (3) family support can't predicted friendly relations and altruism behavior, besides, all dimensions of multiple happiness can be significantly predicted by family, friends and other support. These results provide a theoretical basis for hospital management to develop intervention strategies for improving staff's physical and mental health.
