Preface

摘要

The International Conference on Intelligence Science and Big Data Engineering (IScIDE 2019), took place in Nanjing, China, during October 17-20, 2019. As one of the annual events organized by the Chinese Golden Triangle ISIS (Information Science and Intelligence Science) Forum, this meeting was scheduled as the 9th in a series of annual meetings promoting the academic exchange of research on various areas of intelligence science and big data engineering in China and abroad. We received a total of 225 submissions, each of which was reviewed by at least 3 reviewers. Finally, 84 papers were accepted for presentation at the conference, with an acceptance rate of 37.33%. Among the accepted papers, 14 were selected for oral presentations, 35 for spotlight presentations, and 35 for poster presentations. We would like to thank all the reviewers for spending their precious time on reviewing the papers and for providing valuable comments that helped significantly in the paper selection process. We also included an invited paper in the proceedings entitled "Deep IA-BI and Five Actions in Circling" by Prof. Lei Xu.
