QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS ON DEMAND OF REGION HIGHWAY PASSENGER TRANSPORTATION VOLUMES STATISTICS INDICES

To master information demand of different users, the statistics principle was adopted to analyze quantitatively index demand according to the survey data of users. Based on constructing the statistics index system of region highway passenger transportation volumes, the way of questionnaire was utilized to conduct demand survey for importance, feasibility, demand frequency and demand level of statistics indices. Through analyzing the effective samples, the parameters of each survey index including average, full marks frequency, rank sum and coefficient of variation were calculated with the mathematics statistics method. Following the equal-probability principle, the expected value was calculated to evaluate the significance and feasibility of each index. The results show that the method is reliable and effective to analyze quantitatively the indices demands of various users.
