摘要

Speed Management is an important part of Road Traffic Safety Management. As the amount of vehicles on the road has greatly increased and the anti-monitoring means has increased as well, the traditional speed monitoring measures, including the fixed-point monitoring and the moving monitoring are also not efficient now a days. Based on the existing systems of traffic police department and transport sectors, this paper designs and reconstructs a new type of vehicle monitoring system in road network, using the interval speed monitoring technology and vehicle track pattern confirming technology as the main technical means. The system can be used in speed monitoring, track down dispatched and the fake license plate identification. The application indicates that the system could cover larger area of road network, be more accurate in speed measuring, more extensible in further application, and more capable in anti-monitoring.
