The quality of sugarcane in Indian sugar factories has been found fluctuating. With the same process of double sulphitation even in same sugar factory it fluctuates with in very wide range. Main aim before the sugar technologists in todays competitive world is to produce good quality sugar at competitive cost. Juice from clarification system plays a vital role in deciding the good quality sugar.
