1. Although electrical resistivity is mainly a function of shale grade and heating rate, all tests show a similar trend of electrical resistivity as a function of temperature 2. For oil shale, the function is not monotonic and therefore a time lapse series of data sets are necessary to correlate electrical resistivity to temperature.
