Stringers of 01420 AL-Li Alloy Fatigue Cracking in Welding Joints of Stringer-Sheets for Helicopter-Tail-Boom

摘要

It is well-known phenomenon that Al-Li alloys have sensitiveness to environment deterioration. They can have in-service fatigue transgranular or intergranular cracking. Intergranular cracking has acceleration in fatigue process but it is not clear what benefit for this type of cracking is. It may be intensive influence of environment and because of high level material sensitiveness to environment deterioration.
