We have developed a new methodology to conjugate hyaluronic acid hydrogel with novel nano-fibrous architectures via noncovalent assembly that specifically allows for targeted ASCs differentiation. The results suggest the potential utility of this unique design of the bioactive nano-fibrous scaffold in directing the differentiation of ASCs in vivo, and in directing the adipogenesis in ECM-mimetic materials. We anticipate that this nano-fibrous hydrogel can render the formulation a therapeutically effective platform for both in vitro and in vivo adipogenesis applications.
