The mineral element is one of the reasons that affect apricot pollen germination and pollen tube growth.The experiment isolated cultures 5 kinds of Xinjiang apricots pollens in solid mediums with some mineral elements (Ca2+,K+,Mg2+,Zn2+,Fe2+,Cu2+),and assays the rate of pollen germination and the length of pollen tube.The results show that the 6 kinds of mineral elements have different influences on pollen germination and pollen tube growth of Apricot.In an appropriate concentration range,Mg2+ has the strongest,2+improvement function on Kumaiti s pollen germination and pollen tube growth; Cu2+ has the strongest improvement function on Shushanggan's pollen germination and pollen tube growth; Ca2+ improvement function on Kalayulvke and Dayoujia pollen germination and pollen tube growth is the strongest; K+ has the strongest improvement function on Kabakehuanna's pollen germination and pollen tube growth.
