摘要

For the current situation of expressway traffic safety, a research is conducted by applying Rough Set and RBF (Radial Basis Function) Neural Network. On the basis of the comprehensive analysis of the factors affecting expressway traffic safety, from the systematic viewpoint, an index system of expressway traffic safety evaluation is established. Firstly, the index system is classified by rough set, to clear and a definite important influential index. Then, based on the classification of the evaluation index, the comprehensive evaluation model of RBF Neural Network for expressway traffic safety is established to evaluate the traffic safety of expressway in a certain area. The result proves that this method is scientific, reasonable and feasible, which has a broad prospect of application.
