Radio wave signals reflected from multiple targets which are adjacent tend to be coherent. Thus, discriminating targets in range detection from these radio wave signals tend to fail. A technique called Adaptive Spatial Averaging has been reported which suppress coherent interference signals and derive desired signal. The correlation matrix is divided into sub-matrices, which are averaged with adaptive weights so as to produce a matrix whose interference signal does not correlate with the desired signal. However, due to heavy calculation load, real-time measurement is difficult under scenes where only low-performance calculator are enabled. This paper considers the reduction of the calculation load when using this method. The order of a matrix was reduced, so as to reduce the calculation load of the inverse matrix. Numerical examples show that the new method enables to discriminate the targets without deteriorating the efficiency from the reported method.
